Shampoo prepares special dim sum containing a mushroom that forces the consumer to obey a command upon hearing a specific signal, hoping to make Ranma hug her. She intends to trigger the effect with a finger snap, but a cat sneezes before she can act. Consequently, Ranma is compelled to hug anyone who sneezes near him. This situation becomes more complicated as Akane begins to develop symptoms of the common cold, threatening to increase the number of people Ranma is forced to embrace.
