Junki regains consciousness in the Reideen cockpit as the mecha faces a helpless position against Bagels. The golden giant envelops itself in light and vanishes, leaving Bagels immobilized with part of its face shaved off. Junki lies unconscious nearby. The following day, Self Defense Police servicemen attempt to remove the seemingly harmless Bagels, but the mechanical beast suddenly activates. It advances through a mountain region, heading directly toward the urban area where Junki’s family resides.
