Ep. 9: Kaito pilots GunBuild-1 for its first test run while Akiho worries about Misaki

During a town festival where the group encounters Nae, Kaito assists Kona with her investigation into cheaters by introducing her to Airi and discussing Kimijima reports. The following day, the club successfully assembles the GunBuild-1 robot by joining its upper and lower sections. While Akiho expresses concern over her lack of contact with Misaki, a large crowd gathers for the machine's debut. Kaito pilots the unit, enabling it to take its initial steps. However, the outdated construction leads to a diesel engine failure, causing the performance to disappoint the audience and leaving Akiho deeply dismayed by the outcome.
