EP 1Kaito and Akiho face a robot tournament deadline to save their club
Oct 12, 2012Kaito Yashio and Akiho Senomiya are the sole remaining members of their school's Robotics Club. After submitting a budget request, they visit an old hangar to inspect GunBuild-1, a large robot modeled after the unfinished anime Gunvarrel. The vice-principal grants the requested funds only if the club wins a robot tournament scheduled in two weeks, threatening disbandment upon failure. As the pair considers the difficulty of this challenge, a mysterious girl is observed filing a report.
EP 2Kaito and Akiho secure parts for the Tanegashi Machine robot despite high costs and control challenges.
Oct 19, 2012Kaito and Akiho locate the dormant Tanegashi Machine robot in storage but discover its batteries are depleted. Akiho visits Tetsuharu 'Doc' Fujita to purchase replacement parts, only to find the prices prohibitively high. Kaito consults shopkeeper Mizuka Irei to identify Doc's vulnerabilities, hoping to negotiate a lower cost. This investigation leads Akiho to meet Doc's granddaughter, Junna Daitoku, though she offers little assistance. Akiho ultimately secures the necessary components using an advanced allowance, promising to repay the debt with tournament prize money. Following the repair, the pair focuses on controlling the unit. Kaito must also manage Akiho's "elephant mouse syndrome," a condition resulting from the S.S. Anemone Incident seven years ago that causes time to fast-forward for her. Recognizing her exhaustion, Kaito agrees to operate the robot, provided she designs the controls to resemble his preferred game, "Kill-Ballad."
EP 3Tanegashi Accel Impaaaact!
Oct 26, 2012Kaito, Akiho, and teacher Mitsuhiko Nagafukada attend the Robo-One tournament without lodging. During practice, Kaito feels a strange sensation. He advances through preliminaries using tactics. Before the finals, Akiho worries about his lack of sleep. Kaito faces reigning champion Mr. Pleiades, whose robot has fierce tricks. Kaito experiences an inverse elephant-mouse syndrome, slowing time. He executes a counterattack dubbed Tanegashi Accel Impact, knocking both robots out. Kaito loses the best two out of three match. Later, he meets Kill Ballad creator Frau Koujiro. The vice-principal plans to disband the robotics club. Kaito proves Mr. Pleiades is classmate Subaru Hidaka. The school technically won, so disbandment is cancelled. Subaru joins the club to keep his secret. Akiho seeks JAXA help to complete GunBuild-1.
EP 4Akiho seeks funding for her robot project while Kaito recalls a past incident.
Nov 2, 2012Akiho attempts to secure financial backing from her father, Ken'ichirou Senomiya, president of the Tanegashima Space Center, for their giant robot initiative, but her mother dismisses the idea. Kaito assists transfer student Frau Koujiro, whose real name is Kona Furugouri, with moving into her dorm. Akiho also approaches Mitsuhiko’s uncle, who operates a candy factory, to request sponsorship. Meanwhile, Subaru enlists Kaito’s help for a Robo-One tournament in Las Vegas. When Subaru asks about Kaito’s past participation, he remembers an event on September 11, 2010, involving a mass fainting incident on a ferry where both he and Akiho contracted inverse variations of a specific syndrome. That evening, Kaito detects a mysterious voice from his Poke-Com, revealing a girl through its AR interface.
EP 5Kaito investigates a mysterious girl while uncovering a hidden report about solar catastrophe
Nov 9, 2012Kaito learns from Junna about sightings of a mysterious girl, while Akiho and Subaru prepare for a Robo-One interview. That night, Kaito follows a strange voice to an abandoned building and meets Airi, an Iru-O app that has tried to contact him for 8 years. Airi shows him Kimijima's Report No. 1, written out of fear for his life. The document claims NASA discovered monopoles at the Sun's south pole in 2000 and covered it up. It predicts solar flares in 2012, 2015, and 2019, leading to an explosion in 2020. As Kaito questions the accuracy of these predictions, Mizuka reacts strangely when he mentions Kimijima.

Dec 7, 2012During a town festival where the group encounters Nae, Kaito assists Kona with her investigation into cheaters by introducing her to Airi and discussing Kimijima reports. The following day, the club successfully assembles the GunBuild-1 robot by joining its upper and lower sections. While Akiho expresses concern over her lack of contact with Misaki, a large crowd gathers for the machine's debut. Kaito pilots the unit, enabling it to take its initial steps. However, the outdated construction leads to a diesel engine failure, causing the performance to disappoint the audience and leaving Akiho deeply dismayed by the outcome.
EP 10Kaito investigates cheaters while monopoles fall, prompting Subaru to suggest a new GunBuild robot to JAXA.
Dec 14, 2012Kaito identifies a Kill-Ballad cheater as a monopole stone falls nearby. Akiho considers using these stones to power the GunBuild-1, but Subaru advises abandoning it for a new robot with JAXA. The group meets Nae to persuade JAXA, where Subaru presents a report on the first run's failures and proposes an improved design. He incorporates Junna's idea to use augmented reality via Poke-Com to mimic Gunvarrel's appearance, removing the need for extra weight. Akiho accepts that building a new robot aligns with her original dream and agrees to prepare GunBuild-2 for the expo. Meanwhile, Mizuka speaks with Airi, instructing her to disappear from their lives.

Kaito struggles against his opponent and attempts to force his "slow-mo" ability without success. Kona identifies the hacker as Maguyan, a former developer who claims blackmail, but Kaito deduces he was actually brainwashed. With support from her Robotics Club friends, Kona explains her motivation for creating Kill-Ballad. Akiho, Junna, and Subaru distract the police, giving Kaito time to activate his slow-mo by enduring Kona's electricity. He defeats the opponent, unlocking the server. Kona shuts down the robots just as they breach the police barricade. Kona kisses Kaito in gratitude. A week later, Maguyan is found dead in the Philippines, and Kona begins school to support the club.
EP 15Airi's Digital Existence and Kaito's Discovery of Her True Origin
Feb 1, 2013Solar flares disrupt technology, causing Airi to appear on devices and behave erratically. With Iro-O system maintenance threatening to erase her, Kaito races to complete the sixth report before Christmas Eve. Unlocking Kimijima Report No. 6 reveals the Committee of 300's mass brainwashing. Airi requests to visit Kimijima's house for her birthday, the site of hidden Gunvarrel subliminal images. Kaito finds a machine in the basement holding Airi's original human body. She explains her incurable illness and how Kō Kimijima preserved her consciousness via the Iro-O system while her physical form slept for a future cure. Kaito reports this to the police. Mar 1, 2013After Misaki attacks the expo using a Sumeragi robot, Kaito tackles him while Akiho pursues the culprit. Akiho suffers an EMS seizure as the Sumeragi destroys GunBuild-2, prompting Kaito to protect her. They discover an obelisk, identified by Akiho as a space elevator from a leaked Gunvarrel episode. Sawada explains the structure was hidden by NoAH's Ark AR technology and that the solar flare news is propaganda for Project Atum. Misaki plans to launch black hole bombs from SERN at Tanegashima to create a magnetic storm. Sawada reveals Kimijima orchestrated the Kimijima Reports distraction and uses Misaki as a puppet. Kaito resolves to fight Misaki again, cheering Akiho. Meanwhile, Kona learns about her mother's death and is rescued by Nae, Sawada's ally.
