Maddy leaves her curry shop, where she worked with former WWW teammates, to join Grave after recruitment by Mr. Gauss. Although Gauss intends to drown NetAgents and Lan at a costume party, Maddy considers his methods too malicious. Consequently, she utilizes WackoMan to intervene and stop his plan.
