MegaMan enters a space-time tunnel, traveling twenty years into the past to pursue ShadeMan. In this era, he meets Colonel and they form an alliance to protect the future. However, ShadeMan’s bite on MegaMan’s neck introduces evil energy that corrupts his soul. Lan attempts to reconnect with MegaMan to install a VaccineChip and restore him. This intervention occurs just as ShadeMan is deleted, allowing MegaMan to thwart the villain's plan and restore normalcy to the present timeline. Upon returning to his own time, the dark energy separates from MegaMan’s body and disappears completely.
