Ep. 1: Anzu fights Cupid Riri's romantic interference while avoiding love to protect her hobbies and cat.

First-year high school student Anzu loves video games, chocolate, and her cat Momohiko. Cupid Riri arrives to boost Japan's birth rate by helping inexperienced youth find love. To force Anzu into romantic scenarios, Riri confiscates her games and chocolate, and sends her parents and Momohiko to America. Infuriated, Anzu vows to act as the Romantic Killer, deliberately avoiding all romance until Riri leaves. She soon encounters Tsukasa, an attractive but aloof classmate with whom she has awkward interactions. Bored at home without her games, Anzu leaves after a scare from a cockroach. While sulking in a park during the rain, she is noticed by Tsukasa, who approaches her with an umbrella.
