To force Anzu into romantic scenarios, Riri confiscates her games and chocolate, and sends her parents and Momohiko to America. Infuriated, Anzu vows to act as the Romantic Killer, deliberately avoiding all romance until Riri leaves. She soon encounters Tsukasa, an attractive but aloof classmate with whom she has awkward interactions. Bored at home without her games, Anzu leaves after a scare from a cockroach. While sulking in a park during the rain, she is noticed by Tsukasa, who approaches her with an umbrella.
