Kenshin, Sanosuke, and Jinpu visit Senjogahara and encounter the water clan. Jinpu attacks Reisui, who proves stronger initially. An author instructs Tsunan to place a dragon statue in the shrine center to halt the Ryu Myaku. Jinpu defeats the water clan after Reisui sacrifices himself. Saeke reveals Reisui possessed the jade crest, but Jinpu takes it after Reisui is defeated. Jinpu directs the Ryu Myaku toward the shrine, where it collides with the dragon statue, weakening and stopping the feng shui. The police department slowly rebuilds its stations while Kenshin bids Jinpu a final farewell.
