Kaoru suffers severe injuries from Reisui, requiring natural spring water from Musashino for recovery. Jinpu explains this cure, prompting Kenshin and Jinpu to travel to Musashino while Sanosuke and Tsunan Tsukioka hunt shisa relics. Yahiko remains to guard Kaoru. As the water clan dismantles the wind Eigou formation, Kenshin and Jinpu navigate feng shui obstacles in a mountain cave. Kenshin retrieves the water and ensures Jinpu's safe exit before the cave collapses. Meanwhile, the Ryu Myaku shifts east from Musashino toward Nikko, aligning with the Eigou formation's path.
