After successfully defending their village from a Demon assault, Will and Menel choose to travel to Whitesails, a thriving commercial hub. Their journey takes them through the dense Beast Woods, where the pair is interrupted by a sudden, piercing scream. Investigating the source of the disturbance, they discover two travelers under attack by a Giant Ape. The heroes rush to the scene to confront the beast and assist the endangered individuals, shifting their focus from their planned route to an immediate rescue mission amidst the dangerous forest environment.
