Upon arriving at Daimon High School, Ryoko Mitsurugi is confronted by ninjas but defeats them effortlessly in a K-Fight, an official duel format used to resolve student disputes. Later, while preparing for a tournament that offers the winning club 100 times their usual funding, Ryoko discovers a pendant necklace in a locker and wears it. She subsequently faces her rival kendo senpai, Azumi Kiribayashi, in a duel. After this match, strange occurrences begin to take place, marking a shift in the events surrounding Ryoko and the school activities.
