Zack watches a recording where Ray explains her traumatic childhood, including her parents' mutual hatred and her killing them to create a "perfect family." Danny reveals his obsession with Ray stems from her resemblance to his suicide victim mother. Zack accuses Ray of being the angel of B1, which Danny confirms, noting she was sent to B7 after finding faith. Enraged by her deception, Zack declares he is not her God and demands to know if she will kill him. Ray flees, leading Zack through traps until he corners her. Danny arrives and holds Zack at gunpoint. Cornered by both, Ray calmly draws her weapon and fires.
