Ep. 24: Karen confronts his past self at the Sumeragi Mausoleum to save Alice

Karen reveals he traveled two thousand years back to absorb Yakumo Sumeragi’s power to save Alice, repeating this cycle across alternate selves. Present Karen, who copied Yuito and Kasane’s abilities, confronts his past self at the Sumeragi Mausoleum and forcibly absorbs his powers, gaining a connection to Arahabaki. This transfer forces him to relive the memories of everyone linked to Arahabaki, including his past iterations. Yuito and Kasane show him Alice’s fondest memory: her desire to become strong for him. Despite this, Karen remains determined to let the Kunad Gate destroy the world to save her. Believing reason has failed, Luka asks his friends to stop Karen, and the platoons combine their powers to fight him.
