Veronica commands Silvia to pray for forgiveness regarding her weakness at the church. The location is seized by bandits under guerrilla leader Avdocha Kiltzkaya, who threatens to bomb the building with everyone inside. Ash enters to negotiate with the leader. Meanwhile, Veronica executes a rescue plan, despite her initial intention to allow the church to be destroyed. This intervention ultimately leads to the successful rescue of Silvia and the citizens trapped within the church.
