Amakawa Haruto, a twenty year old university student, dies in a bus accident while regretting not confessing to his childhood friend Miharu, who vanished after their high school entrance ceremony. Meanwhile, in the slums of the Kingdom of Beltrum, a boy named Rio awakens from a nightmare in a filthy shack. Although his sole purpose is revenge against a specific man, he suddenly experiences flashes of another life. These are the memories of Amakawa Haruto, revealing a past existence in a world Rio has never seen before.
