Ep. 1: Sakuta meets invisible actress Mai who is suffering from a strange phenomenon

Sakuta Azusagawa, a second-year student at Minegahara High School, encounters a bunny girl in the library. She is revealed to be Mai Sakurajima, a third-year student and nationally famous actress currently on hiatus. Although Mai typically stands out, people around her cannot see her. Despite Mai telling Sakuta not to associate with her for the rest of his life, he approaches her at the train station platform the next day after spotting her. There, Sakuta learns about the strange phenomena that has been plaguing Mai. This encounter marks the beginning of their interaction regarding the supernatural issues affecting her visibility and daily life.
