The world's finest Assassin accepts a Goddess's request to assassinate the Hero. Although the Hero saves the world by defeating the Demon Lord, he subsequently uses his power to destroy it. To prevent this catastrophe, the Goddess asks the Assassin to be reincarnated in another world and kill the Hero. Having been betrayed and killed by his client in his previous life, the Assassin agrees to her offer. He seeks the opportunity to relive his existence in a new world while fulfilling this mission to save reality from the Hero's destructive plans.
