Onodera visits a bookstore and encounters Yokozawa, who insists Onodera move out and confirms he is dating Takano. Onodera realizes Yokozawa dislikes him due to this relationship. Later, despite declining an invitation, Onodera attends dinner at Takano’s apartment. He becomes intoxicated and admits Takano affects him emotionally. Takano denies the rumors about Yokozawa and reciprocates his feelings. They share an intimate moment before Onodera wakes up naked in Takano’s bed with no memory of the night. Physical pain suggests they had sex, but Onodera openly denies the event occurred.
