Yoshino completes urgent front color pages after the original artist is hospitalized. Exhausted from days without sleep, he collapses after learning an assistant likes Yuu. Yuu visits to discuss spa plans, and Yoshino suggests Yuu spend time with the assistant. Frustrated, Yuu confesses his romantic feelings to Yoshino, who replies he likes him too. Hatori overhears this while delivering a manuscript and leaves angrily. Yoshino clarifies he meant Yuu as a friend, but Yuu asks him to reconsider. Yoshino invites Hatori over to resolve the issue. Hatori assumes Yoshino wants to end their relationship, which angers Yoshino. Hatori interprets this anger as a confirmation of Yoshino's feelings for him.
