Motochika aboard the Fugaku vows to defeat Motonari after learning villagers were displaced from Shikoku. Meanwhile, Keiji visits Toshiie and Matsu in Kaga, who reveal Hideyoshi’s order to attack Kai, though they recognize his true desire for peace. In Shikoku, Motochika gains an advantage, prompting Motonari to lure him for Hideyoshi’s arrival. Hideyoshi parts the sea with his fist, immobilizing Motochika and blocking a cannonball with one hand. He boards the Fugaku, easily defeating Motochika while Yukimura, Oyamada, and Sasuke watch. Oyamada dies clearing a path for Yukimura to support Motochika. The Fugaku is ultimately destroyed during the duel, securing Hideyoshi’s victory as Motochika falls.
