Keiji Maeda arrives late, frustrated, and declines an alliance with Toshiie and Matsu Maeda despite their friendship with Hideyoshi. Sasuke Sarutobi informs Shingen Takeda that Hideyoshi has seized Utsunomiya and Odawara while allying with Motonari Mōri. Takeda orders Yukimura Sanada to move west to Satsuma in Kyushu to prepare an attack. Meanwhile, in Oshu, Kojuurou is confronted by Hanbei Takenaka, who takes two villagers hostage to coerce him into joining Hideyoshi's army.

Jul 25, 2010Keiji attempts to prevent Toshiie and Matsu from traveling to Echigo, but they proceed anyway. Upon meeting Uesugi, Toshiie learns that a significant portion of Uesugi's forces is moving toward Kaga, forcing him to choose between defeating Uesugi to claim Echigo or returning to protect his people. Toshiie decides to return to Kaga to ensure Matsu's safety. During their retreat, they are surrounded by Uesugi's army at Tetorigawa. Keiji arrives and confronts Toshiie, challenging his loyalty to Hideyoshi. After Keiji defeats Toshiie, Matsu draws her sword against him. Uesugi, observing the conflict, orders Matsu to stand down, recognizing that both men seek peace through different means. Meanwhile, in Oshu, Masamune survives an attack by Hideyoshi's army and now faces Hideyoshi directly. Additionally, Yukimura travels west toward Satsuma with his new ally Nobushige Oyamada, during which he hears a faint cry emanating from Azuchi Castle.

Aug 1, 2010Yukimura enters Azuchi Castle to find Hisahide Matsunaga alive, holding Nobunaga Oda’s skull. Hisahide claims Oichi is trapped between life and death, crying as a ghost. He reveals Masamune was defeated by Hideyoshi, a claim Yukimura rejects. Hisahide summons Kotarou Fuuma, who detonates explosives to facilitate his escape with the skull. Yukimura survives the blast but is attacked by Oichi, possessed by Oda’s dark spirit. After breaking free, he fights the spirit. Meanwhile, a bandaged Masamune wakes to thank his retainers for protecting him. Hideyoshi reflects on Keiji’s past protection. The next day, Yukimura meets Oda’s remnants seeking to rebuild, but Oyamada intervenes to stop them. In Aki, Hanbei and Motonari finalize their alliance to attack Motochika Chousokabe in Shikoku.

In Osaka, Hanbei deceives Kojuurou by claiming Masamune was defeated, using a lost sword as proof. Keiji encounters Hanbei, who reminds him of events at Tetorigawa. Meanwhile, Yukimura observes Hideyoshi’s forces departing for Shikoku while traveling to Satsuma. Uesugi unexpectedly returns his army, surprising Masamune. The two leaders meet at the bridge, where Masamune thanks Uesugi for permitting his advance toward Satsuma. Simultaneously, in Shikoku, Motochika and Motonari initiate their naval battle. This sequence highlights the shifting alliances and military movements across multiple regions as characters navigate the aftermath of recent conflicts and strategic decisions.

Aug 15, 2010Motochika aboard the Fugaku vows to defeat Motonari after learning villagers were displaced from Shikoku. Meanwhile, Keiji visits Toshiie and Matsu in Kaga, who reveal Hideyoshi’s order to attack Kai, though they recognize his true desire for peace. In Shikoku, Motochika gains an advantage, prompting Motonari to lure him for Hideyoshi’s arrival. Hideyoshi parts the sea with his fist, immobilizing Motochika and blocking a cannonball with one hand. He boards the Fugaku, easily defeating Motochika while Yukimura, Oyamada, and Sasuke watch. Oyamada dies clearing a path for Yukimura to support Motochika. The Fugaku is ultimately destroyed during the duel, securing Hideyoshi’s victory as Motochika falls.
7EP 7Yukimura meets Musashi and Yoshihiro while Takeda and Masamune refuse Hideyoshi's alliance.
Aug 22, 2010Sasuke tells Takeda that Oyamada died in battle and that Masamune is attacking Hideyoshi's troops while disguised as Takeda's soldiers. After Sasuke informs Masamune, the two defeat Hideyoshi's forces. Continuing toward Satsuma, Yukimura encounters locals and fights Musashi Miyamoto, an untrained swordsman from the village. Yukimura then demands to see the leader, Yoshihiro Shimazu, whom he is surprised to find alive despite rumors of his death by Oda. In Kai, Takeda and Masamune learn that Hideyoshi will fight them if they ally. Masamune refuses this alliance, preferring to fight Hideyoshi alone in Osaka. Meanwhile, in Osaka, Hideyoshi and Hanbei discuss their next plan and a new weapon when Keiji arrives to speak with Hideyoshi.
8EP 8Hideyoshi dissolves the alliance with Keiji, while Yukimura secures a Satsuma pact against him
Aug 29, 2010Hideyoshi agrees to dissolve the Maede and Toyotomi alliance but explains he killed Nene to strengthen the nation, causing a disagreement that leads Keiji to leave. In Satsuma, Yukimura convinces Shimazu to ally against Hideyoshi, and Shimazu reveals Motonari previously manipulated Oda to attack Kyushu. Meanwhile, Keiji finds his monkey Yumekichi ill and encounters Hisahide, who does not recognize him despite Keiji once saving him from a beating. Hideyoshi attacks Honganji monks out of anger over his own weakness. Hisahide meets Hideyoshi, who also fails to recognize him, and Hanbei orders him to stop Masamune’s forces in Owari. There, Masamune enters the territory and is approached by Motochika, who is revealed to be alive.

Sep 5, 2010Masamune and Motochika face off in a drawn battle while Motonari and Motoyasu Akagawa observe the Fugaku being rebuilt and renamed Nichirin in Aki. In Satsuma, Yukimura and Musashi complete unusual training just as Hideyoshi’s forces arrive to confront them, with Motonari’s troops also approaching. Meanwhile, in Osaka, Hideyoshi and Hanbei initiate plans to conquer the east, knowing Motonari deceived them. Kasuga informs Keiji that Toshiie will join Uesugi to defend Echigo, despite being unfit for combat. During these events, Yumekichi vanishes with Keiji’s pendant. As Masamune and Motochika’s armies discuss attacking Wasaka and Yamashiro, a dart bearing a note arrives, which Masamune identifies as being written by Hisahide.

Sep 19, 2010Kojuurou rejects Hanbei and serves Hideyoshi, prompting Kotarou to eliminate castle guards while Sasuke and Kasuga infiltrate. They learn Hideyoshi plans to attack Uesugi and Satsuma. Kotarou attacks Sasuke to retrieve a sword for Hisahide. Kasuga flies to Uesugi, while Kojuurou frees prisoners and leads a revolt. 12EP 12The Final Clash of Azure and Crimson Amidst the Calm After the Fierce Struggle
Sep 26, 2010Masamune and Hideyoshi engage in combat while Yukimura attacks Motonari and Kojuurou faces Hanbei. In Echigo, Uesugi defeats Hideyoshi’s forces and meets Mitsunari Ishida as Kasuga returns. Meanwhile, in Satsuma, Shimazu and Musashi defeat troops led by Ieyasu Tokugawa and Tadakatsu Honda. Yukimura stops Motonari from destroying a village and shatters the Nichirin mirror, injuring Motonari. Kojuurou uses Masamune’s broken sword against Hanbei, who dies after falling from a cliff. Hideyoshi crushes Masamune under a castle but is ultimately defeated by Masamune wielding Kojuurou’s sword. In a trance, Keiji meets Hideyoshi, who returns his pendant, acknowledging his failing legacy. With Hideyoshi’s defeat, his armies disband, and everyone returns to their normal lives.
