Ep. 3: Epilogue set in 1936 where Yukina returns Natsume's belongings and Kazura faces Kempeitai pursuit.
In 1936, Yukina visits Natsume's family in Japan to return his belongings, including a five sen coin requested for his younger brother in the Asabu regiment. Simultaneously, Kazura is tasked by the Kempeitai to investigate young officers planning a coup. Upon confirming their intent to rebel, Kazura deceives the Kempeitai and flees execution with the help of Aoi, who is revealed to be alive, and Yukina. While hiding, Kazura confesses his plan to join the uprising. Yukina entrusts him with Natsume's coin to deliver to Natsume's brother if they meet. Kazura departs, while Aoi returns home with Shizune, who has lost her memories of Manchuria. Yukina notes the rebellion becomes known as the February 26 Incident, but her uncertainty about Kazura's true name prevents her from determining his fate.
