Ep. 5: Kuroto encounters Shiro, who uses fox-fire to reveal his desire to touch her tail.
Kuroto returns home to find Shiro, a second fox demi-god, in his apartment. He stares at her tail, and she allows him to touch her head to upstage Senko, causing Senko to feel jealous. Shiro believes Senko is failing Kuroto, so she uses fox-fire to reveal his deepest desire: touching her tail. Scared by his reaction, Shiro passes through the wall into Koenji’s apartment and apologizes before leaving. Koenji, though surprised, notes she seems to be hallucinating from lack of sleep. The next day, Senko prepares a bath for Kuroto and hopes to join him to improve his mood. While washing her back, he notices her tail appears damp, which depresses him. After they exit, her tail returns to normal, and he again wishes to touch it. Meanwhile, Shiro watches the pair from outside.
