Ep. 8: Kuroto enjoys a brief summer break while Senko, Shiro, and Koenji visit the beach for a day of activities.

Kuroto takes a one-day summer break from work when Shiro unexpectedly arrives to take him, Senko, and a sleeping Koenji to the beach. Senko views Shiro’s decision to bring them as risky. While Shiro and Koenji play in the water, Nakano and Senko relax under an umbrella, discussing the closeness between Shiro and Koenji, which Senko attributes to their shared video game sessions. After a volleyball game causes Senko’s back to give out, Koenji retrieves a grill from her bag. Kuroto searches for food nearby, finding a shack where a woman provides raw ingredients before fleeing, believing he is speaking to a ghost. The group eats together, and later, Senko uses fox-fire to create fireworks, which Koenji observes as looking different despite Shiro’s denial.
