Silva, a Patch Tribe member and Shaman Fight overseer, summons Yoh to evaluate his eligibility for the competition. He demonstrates the Over Soul technique by channeling five animal spirits through his body accessories, easily overpowering Yoh. In response, Yoh learns to apply this method by channeling Amidamaru’s soul through his sword. This new understanding allows Yoh to land a successful strike against Silva. Consequently, Silva acknowledges Yoh's potential and grants him the right to participate in the Shaman Fight.
