Ep. 1: Haruto reunites with his deceased friend in the relaunched game Re'Union six years later

Haruto Amō leads his six-member guild, Subaru, on a quest in the MMORPG Union. During a dungeon boss encounter, Asahi Kuga dies in-game while protecting Haruto, and subsequently passes away from heart failure in the real world, causing the game to shut down. Six years later, the game is relaunched as Re'Union, restricting access to invited players only. Haruto receives an invitation and, after clearing a dungeon, discovers Asahi sleeping inside a treasure chest.
