Upon leaving the cave, an artifact attached to Asahi drops, causing Haruto to experience visions revealing truths about her origin. As news of their dungeon conquest spreads, Haruto’s party is attacked by the Southern Cross guild and then the Brill Society guild, where leader Angelus invites Haruto to join but is refused. The group enters the Tower of Heaven, a dungeon they previously struggled to clear at low levels. Inside, Satsuki is immobilized by the dungeon boss, leading her to lose trust in Haruto. After defeating the boss, they encounter Takanori and his guild, who warn Haruto to stay away from Asahi.
