Haruto, Asahi, and Satsuki board Alwida's ship to find a legendary sword underwater. Haruto identifies the weapon as one he used in Union, but the giant sea dragon Aegir guards it. Clive arrives to help the group retreat from the underwater struggle. In the real world, Takanori meets Haruto and Satsuki, warning that the organization Gnosis is plotting and likely faked Asahi's death. They also learn Nozomi has returned to town. Back in the game, Haruto's party attempts to retrieve the sword again, now aided by Clive's power to move underwater. They defeat Aegir, but Clive betrays the group and stabs Haruto when the sword is retrieved.
