Ep. 2: Jean Returns Home After Training and Competes in a Cooking Contest

In the year 849, episode 3.25, Jean returns home after two years of training. Following a dispute with Sasha, Commander Pyxis organizes a cooking contest to resolve their conflict. Armin and Annie join Jean’s team, while Connie and Reiner team up with Sasha. The groups hunt a giant boar in the forest, but Sasha’s team kills it first. Jean later argues with his mother and attempts to steal beef to win, but Armin and Annie refuse to assist. He abandons the plan and eats an omelette his mother prepared, recalling her support. During the contest, Sasha serves boar steak, while Jean presents the omelette. Pyxis declares Jean the winner due to his superior cooking skill. Satisfied with the victory, Jean considers visiting his mother again.
