Taisei pilots the Shinkalion despite initial hesitation, excelling due to high compatibility that makes Ryouta jealous. Though he struggles against the Unknown, memories of his sister help him combine with a vehicle to win. Waking in the ERDA infirmary, Taisei laments destroying a bridge tied to his sister, angering Ryouta, who lacks compatibility. Mai is also a potential driver but lacks sufficient ratings. At school, Taisei meets popular classmate Folden, who shares experiences with famous siblings. ERDA member Takanawa offers Taisei membership, revealing his sister’s ERDA account was accessed after she went missing. Encouraged by his Navi and his sister’s advice on failure, Taisei realizes his earlier negativity was wrong and decides to join ERDA.
