Seiryu suffers from memory loss following the capture of the Black Shinkalion by Sougyoku. This condition is believed to shield his heart from emotional shock. Suzaku seeks to understand why a heart has emerged within Seiryu. Hayato and his friends attempt to restore his memories, but their efforts fail. Meanwhile, Shinobu appears to have a separate perspective on Seiryu's suffering.
