Yakumo has arrived from France, where he was conducting research on the Compatible Rate of Shinkalion drivers, but his work has stalled. He reveals that his visit is unrelated to marriage matters. To help resolve the issues with his research, Futaba suggests that Yakumo consult a specific individual who might hold the key to solving the mystery. This person is Azusa, whose involvement is expected to aid Yakumo in overcoming the obstacles he has faced during his studies abroad.
