Oct 1, 2003In 2042, Goh Saruwatari saves 12 year old Anna Aoi from Mimetic Beasts. Five years later, Goh is engaged to Anna and preparing to retire. Their wedding is interrupted by a call from Dannar Base regarding the return of Mimetic Beasts. Goh leaves the ceremony to pilot the Dannar after his friends are defeated by an infected Club Mariner, once piloted by his best friend Max. While Goh battles the seemingly pilot-less robot, Anna discovers a sealed mecha, Neo-Okusaer, and reveals her connection to Dannar Base director Kiriko Aoi. The Dannar and Neo-Okusaer merge into the powerful robot Godannar, defeating both the Mimetic Beast and Club Mariner. Kiriko later receives footage of a nude blonde girl falling from Club Mariner, identified in a flashback as Goh's ex-lover Mira.
2EP 2Goh rejects Anna as pilot while a Mimetic Beast attacks Dannar Base and Hayashi
Oct 8, 2003Kiriko believes Anna is ready to partner with Goh and that they are destined to marry, but Goh considers piloting too dangerous. After Anna undergoes exhausting tests, Goh rejects her as a pilot, leading to a fight. Meanwhile, Mira enters suspended animation at Dannar Base. Mechanics attempting to remove Mimetic Beast remains from Club Mariner are attacked, and Hayashi is absorbed by the monster, which escapes into town. Anna lures the creature to her high school gym to reach a soccer robot. Goh arrives late at the school without Shinobu, Anna, or Hayashi, and kills the Mimetic Beast in anger.
3EP 3Anna and Goh travel to China while pilots battle a Mimetic Beast decoy
Oct 15, 2003Anna, Shinobu, and Hayashi survive the prior assault, allowing Anna and Goh to depart for a honeymoon in China. A Mimetic Beast appears nearby, prompting four bases to respond. Pilots attack together and appear to defeat the creature. During introductions, Luna pilots the Luna Sister and discovers the body is a decoy hiding the brain. The team must destroy the core without releasing toxic fluid. The robots re-engage, leaving Goh and Anna behind. The couple frees other robots and merges their forms. The Beast attempts to flee, but other pilots intercept it, creating an opening for Goh and Anna to destroy it with combined attacks.
4EP 4Shizuru reflects on her life while Neo Okusaer and Core Gunner battle a regenerative Mimetic Beast.
Oct 22, 2003Shizuru contemplates her past at Dannar Base as a new Mimetic Beast, Type 16, emerges. This creature burrows underground and regenerates wounds, having completely destroyed Oasis Base and hospitalized survivors. With Core Gunner undergoing repairs, GoDannar and Neo Okusaer are deployed to eliminate the threat. Anna entrusts Sakura to Shinobu before the mission. During the engagement, Goh is impaled by the beast's retractable spikes and hospitalized. Consequently, Neo Okusaer and Core Gunner face the enemy alone. Anna's implanted bomb fails to detonate, and the beast disables Core Gunner's sniper arm. Shizuru strikes a vulnerable spot, allowing Anna and Goh to merge and defeat the creature using Heart Breaker.
5EP 5Lou and Goh battle a mimetic beast threatening Cosmo Base during their return to Earth.
