Ep. 1: The unbreakable console proves unplayable while Chizuru seeks validation and Squid Girl hides.
Aired on August 8, 2012Filler

After breaking their console, the trio designs a durable handheld device and shares copies with Squid Girl and Eiko. The extreme toughness renders the hardware nearly impossible to use, a problem compounded by the limited game library. Meanwhile, Ayumi explains that she speaks normally to Squid Girl and Chizuru because she does not view them as human. Disturbed by this perspective, Chizuru takes drastic steps to prove her humanity to others. In a separate subplot, Squid Girl attempts to surprise her family by hiding, but becomes disappointed when they display little concern for her absence.
