In August, a typhoon approaches Nanjou City while Kukuru protests the aquarium's closure by locking herself inside Gama Gama Aquarium. Fuuka, concerned for her friend, follows and locks herself in as well. Kukuru’s response to Fuuka’s worry about her future is indirect and complex. As the storm worsens, the power fails, leaving the two to inspect the facility for any issues with the tanks or the aquatic creatures housed within.
