Months after the Gama Gama Aquarium closed, the following spring sees Kukuru graduate from high school and begin employment at the Tingarla Aquarium. Although she intends to work as a caretaker, she is unexpectedly assigned to the sales department. Confused by this outcome, she proceeds to her new workplace. There, she encounters Tetsuji Suwa, who serves as the aquarium's vice director. She also reunites with Chiyu, an individual who previously visited the Gama Gama Aquarium for training purposes. This transition marks a significant shift in Kukuru's professional life as she navigates her new role and reconnects with familiar faces from her past.
