Kukuru struggles with her job and visits the now-demolished Gama Gama Aquarium, leaving her shocked. She takes unauthorized leave and travels to a remote island where she encounters Misaki Guden, a sea turtle researcher and conservationist who is also Gousuke's wife. Kukuru assists Misaki with her duties and chooses to observe the hatching sea turtles. Meanwhile, Fuuka is unable to focus on her work due to concerns for Kukuru. At the same time, unusual events occur regarding the Cape penguins under Fuuka's care. This episode highlights the contrasting experiences of the characters as they deal with personal and professional challenges in different settings.
