Ep. 1: Yotarou becomes Sukeroku after ten years of training under Yakumo

Following a decade of apprenticeship under the eighth-generation Yakumo, Yotarou attains the shin'uchi rank and adopts the name Sukeroku, honoring his master's peer and Konatsu's father. While his new status initially seems promising, challenges quickly emerge. The narrative explores the tension between the declining tradition of rakugo and Yotarou's personal worries regarding Konatsu, a single mother.
