Ep. 6: Yakumo collapses during Hangon-ko while Yotarou prepares to perform Inokori

During the Hangon-ko performance, Yakumo faints and experiences a nightmare involving the Second Generation Sukeroku strangling him in a candlelit hall. Yotarou’s voice revives him, but medical transport prevents Yakumo from returning to the stage. As Yotarou prepares to board the ambulance, he hears the audience’s anticipation for his act. Motivated by their expectations, Yotarou decides he must perform rakugo. He remains in the theater and resolves to take the stage himself. His chosen piece for this performance is Inokori, marking a significant moment where he steps up to entertain the crowd despite the circumstances surrounding his partner’s sudden medical emergency.
