While working at Darumaya, Kyoko seeks entry into show business by targeting L.M.E., Sho’s rival agency. Sawara initially rejects her, mistaking her for a fan obsessed with star Ren Tsuruga, but yields after her persistent harassment. During the audition process, Kyoko meets Tsuruga, who dismisses her revenge motive as futile, causing her to view him as her second greatest hatred after Sho. Tsuruga briefly reveals his true nature before masking it with a smile. The event features entry number 46, who astonishes judges by memorizing a book quickly. Kyoko then surprises the panel by appearing on stage armed with a daikon radish and a knife.
