While working at a gas station, Kyoko experiences a breakdown upon seeing Sho on TV, though her coworker mistakes this for fandom. Sho visits the station but does not recognize Kyoko, leaving her upset. Later, Kyoko attempts to rejoin L.M.E. and accidentally bumps into actress Kamio, carrying her luggage. Ren assists them and explains the new 'Love-Me' section for those lacking the X-factor of love. He then announces Kyoko as the first trainee, causing her to drop Kamio's bags in shock. Kamio becomes angry, and Kyoko receives a penalty stamp. Furious at Ren for what she perceives as a trick, Kyoko believes he must hate her.
