Kyoko convinces the President to accept her into the agency by expressing her desire to regain her lost capacity for love. She receives a notebook and stamps to track her progress toward debut, along with a pink jumpsuit bearing the Love-Me logo. Her first task involves cleaning chewing gum discarded by eliminated auditionees. Frustrated, she waxes the entire area, causing L.M.E. workers to slip. Despite this, Sawara awards her 10 points but urges improvement. While sulking, Kyoko is struck by Ruriko, an L.M.E. idol who hires her as a bodyguard. During a car ride to an acting job, the vehicle breaks down, forcing them to walk. Ruriko quickly claims exhaustion, prompting Kyoko to carry her up a mountain. Kyoko sprains her ankle during the fall, and Ruriko leaves her stranded on the road. Ren discovers the injured Kyoko, assesses the severity of her sprain, and carries her to the set.
