Ep. 1: Miyuki Hoshizora meets Candy and becomes Cure Happy after battling Wolfrun

Transfer student Miyuki Hoshizora encounters a Märchenland pixie named Candy and finds a pink book. At school, classmate Akane Hino helps her introduce herself. Later, Miyuki discovers a portal to a magical library. Meanwhile, Wolfrun, a commander from the Bad End Kingdom, chases Candy and uses his powers to make townsfolk despair, aiming to gather negative energy to resurrect his master, Pierrot. Miyuki risks her life to protect Candy and receives a magic compact called a Smile Pact. This item transforms her into the magical warrior Cure Happy. Wolfrun creates a monster called an Akanbe to fight her. Miyuki eventually masters her powers to destroy the Akanbe and gains a Cure Décor from its remains.
