Miyuki recruits Akane and Yayoi Kise after Candy states four more Precure are needed. Akane prioritizes volleyball try-outs, so Miyuki supports her. Wolfrun appears during try-outs, gathering negative energy. Miyuki transforms into Cure Happy to challenge Wolfrun’s views on friendship but is overwhelmed by his Akanbe attack, realizing she can only use her finishing move once per transformation. Akane breaks Wolfrun’s trance, hears Miyuki, and attempts to save her. This triggers Akane’s Smile Pact, transforming her into Cure Sunny. Her herculean strength allows her to destroy the Akanbe with Sunny Fire, and she acquires a Cure Décor. Akane agrees to join Pretty Cure as Miyuki’s friend, prompting Candy to reflect on friendship as their greatest power.
