Aware of military surveillance, Dr. Eggman deploys the E-90 robot, which consumes artificial satellites and triggers widespread disorder on the surface. This disruption prevents Cream from watching her favorite television program. Sonic attempts to address the crisis but finds that the standard Tornado bi-plane lacks the capability to reach outer space. Consequently, Tails and Chuck modify the aircraft to enable space travel. They transport Sonic aboard the upgraded Tornado, launching a mission to space to confront and dismantle Eggman's rogue robot.
