Kazuki, Maya, Kenji, and Canon, accompanied by Kyouhei, rush the core to rescue Soushi. Tsubaki undergoes a death process to help Festums understand life and death, requiring her return to the core. Kenji plans the attack while Canon confirms formations. Soushi is controlled by Idun via the Siegfried System, which targets pilot weaknesses to break formations. The four pilots reunite to defeat Idun. Tsubaki struggles emotionally before synchronizing with the island core. With Akane’s help, Kazuki rescues Soushi, bearing the assimilation. As the Meir heads to the atmosphere, Maya snipes it to prevent global spread. Tsubaki dissolves into the island. Idun, barely alive in the Fafner Mark Nicht, hinders Kazuki and Soushi, but Koyo saves them. Near the island, Soushi vanishes due to his near-assimilated state.
