Ep. 39: Crona's Escape: Show Me Your Smile, Please?

Eruka urges Crona to return to Medusa, while Arachne seeks an alliance with Asura against the DWMA, only to be violently rejected. Maka and Soul begin searching for the missing Crona after Death Scythe reports his absence. Crona is found hiding in a desert hole, where he confesses to poisoning Marie’s tea with Medusa’s snake. Meanwhile, Asura eventually agrees to ally with Arachne. Back at the DWMA, Lord Death discusses Crona’s betrayal with Maka and Death Scythe. The situation shifts abruptly when Sid announces that Medusa has arrived at the DWMA to surrender.
