Soushin Shoujo Matoi

Matoi Sumeragi is a second-year junior high student who works part-time as a shrine maiden at Tenman Shrine in Kamaya. After being raised by her father's parents since childhood, she recently started living with her father, Shingo, a police detective. She hopes for a quiet, ordinary life. Her friend Yuma Kusanagi, from the shrine's priest family and a potential shrine maiden successor, invites her to a ritual called Divine Possession. On the way home from school, they find the shrine damaged and Yuma's parents injured. Shingo investigates and captures a suspicious man, after which Yuma begins the ritual. Unexpectedly, Matoi becomes the focus of the supernatural event, taking on a divine role and gaining the ability to expel evil spirits. To reclaim her normal life, she must perform exorcisms.
