Oct 17, 2014Yuuna Yuuki, Mimori Tougou, Fuu Inubouzaki, and Itsuki Inubouzaki belong to the Sanshuu Middle School Hero Club, which assists people through a website. After receiving a "forestize warning" on their phones, time stops and the group is transported to a colorful forest by rainbow light. Fuu explains that the Shinju selected them to battle Vertex, enemies aiming to destroy the Shinju and kill the world. When a Vertex attacks, Fuu and Itsuki transform using their phones to fight while urging Yuuna and Mimori to flee. Refusing to leave Mimori behind, Yuuna unlocks her hidden hero potential and transforms to join the battle against the enemy.

Oct 17, 2014Fuu directs Yuuna and Itsuki to perform a sealing ritual that exposes and destroys a regenerating Vertex’s core, returning everyone to the real world. Mimori, frustrated by her inability to help everyone, directs anger at Fuu for the secrecy, though Yuuna offers some comfort. Soon, three new Vertex emerge and use combined attacks to prevent the sealing ritual. When these enemies target Yuuna, Mimori resolves to protect her, awakening her hero form to provide projectile support. Together, the girls successfully defeat all three Vertex.

Oct 24, 2014One month after their previous battle, the group prepares to confront the fifth Vertex, but Karin Miyoshi arrives and defeats it alone. The following day, she transfers into Yūna and Mimori’s class, asserting her role as a fully trained hero sent to oversee the newcomers. Although she reluctantly joins the Hero Club, she remains resistant to forming friendships. Over the weekend, she avoids a planned gathering, believing she must prioritize her heroic duties. Later that evening, the girls visit her apartment to reveal they had organized a surprise birthday party for her. By the end of the day, Karin begins to warm up to her new companions.

Meanwhile, Fū worries after a message from Taisha, reflecting on the burden she carries since their parents died. Itsuki reassures Fū that she is happy to fight alongside her. On the test day, Itsuki finds supportive letters from her friends, which boosts her confidence and sets her goal to become a singer. As Fū contemplates worst-case scenarios, a new forestization event occurs in the forest.

Nov 7, 2014The team confronts the remaining seven Vertexes, but a trap using a loud bell disables them. Itsuki stops the bell, yet three Vertexes merge into a resilient, powerful entity. Fū and Mimori deploy their Mankai forms to defeat the combined monster, while Itsuki uses her Mankai form to shield Shinju from a faster threat. Fū sacrifices herself to buy time for sealing the others, revealing a massive core in the stratosphere. Yūna and Mimori travel to space together, utilizing their Mankai forms to destroy the core. After the battle, Karin confirms everyone is safe and reports the victory to Taisha.
EP 6The Hero Club members face mysterious health issues after their battle with the Vertex.
Nov 14, 2014Following their fight against the Vertex, the girls undergo hospital checkups and discover various physical ailments. Fū has lost vision in her left eye, Itsuki has lost her voice, Yūna has lost her sense of taste, and Mimori has gone deaf in her left ear. While the first two assume these are temporary battle fatigue, Mimori suspects they are side effects of the Mankai form and contacts Fū. Meanwhile, Karin, who avoided using the Mankai form and remains unaffected, isolates herself because she feels useless now that the Vertex are gone. Yūna finds Karin and reassures her that the Hero Club will continue regardless of combat. Touched by this support, Karin persuades Taisha to allow her to remain at Sanshu Middle School until graduation, and the group makes plans for the upcoming summer break.
EP 7Taisha rewards the girls with a hot spring trip, but Fū discovers new threats await.
Nov 21, 2014Taisha rewards the girls with an all-expenses-paid trip to a hot spring inn during their summer break. The girls enjoy a day on the beach, have a delicious meal, relax in the hot springs, and tell some ghost stories. The next morning, Mimori reminisces about a ribbon she was holding onto when she lost her memory in an accident and wonders if their battles are really over. After the group returns home, making plans for the culture festival on the way back, Fū is summoned to the clubroom where she discovers everyone's old transformation cellphones, as well as a new fairy for herself, with Taisha warning her that another attack is to be expected.

Nov 28, 2014After Fū declares the battle continues, the girls receive additional fairies and face another forestization. Yuna destroys the remaining Vertex cores using her new fairy, alarming her friends. Yuna and Mimori are then separated and summoned by a hospitalized girl, Sonoko Nogi, a former hero. Sonoko explains the Hero System, revealing that heroes permanently lose bodily functions for Mankai power and serve as immortal sacrifices to Shinju. Mimori feels sadness, suspecting she knows Sonoko but cannot remember her. Shocked by this revelation, Yuna promises Mimori she will find a way to resolve the situation as they are escorted home.
EP 9Fū learns the truth about her fairies and her friend's permanent condition
Dec 5, 2014Yūna and Mimori share Sonoko’s revelations with Fū, who urges them to keep the information secret from Itsuki and Karin for now. Although Fū hears from a teacher that Itsuki suffers from her missing voice, she denies the severity of the situation. The following day, Mimori confirms that their fairies were created to prevent suicide, validating Sonoko’s claims and proving their symptoms are permanent. This news devastates Fū, who realizes Itsuki will never regain her voice or become a singer. Enraged by the involvement of others, Fū attempts to destroy the Taisha, even preparing to fight Karin. However, Yūna and Itsuki intervene, demonstrating that they hold no regrets about joining the Hero Club.
EP 10Mimori confronts the Shinju's truth and unleashes Vertexes to end the cycle of suffering.
Dec 12, 2014Mimori remembers her past, including meeting Yūna and joining the Hero Club with Fū and Itsuki. She previously attempted suicide to prove the fairies' existence after learning the truth from Sonoko. In the present, Mimori discovers her legs and memories were taken by the Mankai form, and that Taisha manipulated her life to live near Yūna. She approaches Sonoko again, who reveals the world's true nature. Mimori investigates the Shinju and sees a hell of smaller Vertexes rebuilding defeated ones, dooming heroes to fight until disabled. Believing destruction is the only way to prevent others from suffering like Sonoko, Mimori blasts a hole in the Shinju, releasing several smaller Vertexes into the forest.

Dec 19, 2014Discovering Mimori is central to the Vertex outbreak, Yūna and Karin pursue her into the Shinju to understand her perspective. Mimori believes destroying the Shinju is the only way to spare her friends from suffering, forcing Yūna and Karin to retreat. Yūna’s resulting confusion prevents her from transforming, as she feels like a failure. Determined to reunite with Mimori, Karin fights alone through the Vertex, undergoing Mankai repeatedly. This battle leaves Karin blind, deaf, and largely paralyzed by the time Yūna finds her. Meanwhile, after Fū and Itsuki fail to intervene, Mimori attempts to destroy the Shinju by directing Vertex attacks toward it. Yūna arrives just in time to halt the assault, driven by a resolve to protect Mimori from destruction.
